Hazem Kassem is a senior financial executive with more than 20 years of corporate finance experience. He has led finance teams across pharmaceuticals, chemicals, fertilizers, media and advertising, healthcare, and private equity in Egypt and the MENA region.
In February 2017 he founded Axcell Business Services to bring the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) model to Egypt specifically for accounting and financial management. The premise was simple: businesses in Egypt and the MENA region needed access to senior, up-to-date financial expertise without the cost and overhead of a full-time CFO. Axcell was built to deliver that — at a cost proportional to actual usage, with the independence and accountability of an outside partner.
He leads Axcell from Cairo and oversees every engagement personally — from large industrial group financial reorganizations to early-stage company financial-systems setup. He works in both Arabic and English.
